Spektrum DX8 Failsafe setup

I switched over from my old Futaba 7C to my DX8, which I'm not very au fait with, so I can hopefully get the return to home and land working. I understand that if I bind the receiver with the throttle at half this will set the throttle Failsafe to that level, is that right? I can't find any settings however for choosing channels for it to do the DJI failsafe proceedure, can someone explain how I do this. I got eveything else to work, M ,Atti, Position Hold, on Aux1 on a three way switch.

Hi M8 if you give me a ring in the morning I will talk you through how to do it .
Easier to explain on the phone , than type it all out .

Thanks Geoff by the way for sorting it for me over the phone, it would have taken me ages to figure out my mistake otherwise. I was trying to bind the transmitter with my throttle stick halfway up, instead of trimming the throttle channel halfway up in my radio settings. :)

No, I have not tried it yet because I haven't got it flying nice and smooth yet - it's a bit wobbly. Once I get it flying right I will try it.
