On the search for a new camera, the Sony A7S and the Lumix GH4 cought my interest, and I might as well post some of the comparisons I found:

I was going to go with the GH4 but am leaning toward the A7s. I will be using a Movi M10 so there is plenty of room for an external recorder. Here is some amazing stuff taken with the A7s but only in 1080:

Which Ninja are you looking at? The Ninja Star which is very lightweight says it only records 1080p.

Absolutely love the A7S low-light capability, but trying to figure out a lightweight way to record 4K from it.

The Atomos Shogun seems to be the only way to go for 4K recording. Like I said since I have up to a 12lb weight limit it is not issue

Ouch! $2k and 1.5 lbs is a lot to pay for a feature that other cameras do in body. I know M10 can carry it but 1.5 lbs. takes a pretty good chunk out of your flight time.

Still, it might be worth it for the low light stuff.

Yeah, that's why I am still contemplating what to do. I just got the M10 and will see how it does with my Nikon D800
