Sony a5100 hdmi converter for NTSC use?

I am considering moving up to the Sony a5100 with Sigma 19mm lens for aerial mapping purposes and other general still/video work. I have found a nice trigger setup that I can use with my stratosnapper or with a little converter for Pixhawk from mobilexcopter.
Simple multi shutter - Pixhawk version
Sony multiport compatible shutter cable - JR connectors

What I want now is an hdmi converter setup that is known to work. The only thing I see that is confirmed for NTSC because it has a switch is this one:

But I would prefer something like this:
http://www.mobilexcopter.com/shop.htm#!/HDMI-AV-converter/p/40685370/category=3342127

I have seen video of this one being used and switching between PAL/NTSC on the camera but only non-US versions of the camera have that option. Does it work with a US version and switch automatically anway?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

That Helipal converter is basically this without the box.

If you've got some heat shrink and can do some soldering you can save yourself some money.

This is what I use for my GH4 and it works great, even in 4K.
