My 550 was flying just fine, and I didn't fly because of the weather for a few days. I finally got out to fly and my 550 started acting funny. I checked everything and the setting were all the same. I did notice that the Stick Calibration was off. So I attempted to calibrate. But the sticks won't center. I check the calibration again this time using my TBS and everything checks out. Flying the TBS shows no issues, but when switching back over to the DJI 550 the sticks just won't calibrate. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'd try rebooting the Naza
And reinstall the latest update...basically from start to finish on the settings as well

Make sure your model selection doesn't have any trim or sub-trim first!

Sorry the 550 has the WK-M
I would start to make sure you didn't get any trim/Sub-trim in the F550 model in your controller.

If it's all zero'd out then I would do the same an fully reboot the WKM, make sure to try the same thing with redoing the entire set-up

Damn, I spoke to soon. I decided to go and check it out by doing a short flight between rain drops here in Atlanta. and I'll be damned if it didn't dor the exact same thing. I have re-downloaded and installed the firmware, and also the software, now I keep getting the "CFG-ERR(8) error. I have checked every connection, every setting, everything I could think of. The joysticks still won't center. I have checked the DX8 once again with the TBS and she flies perfect. What am I missing?

I would go into that model selection and check all your programming trim/sub-trim areas. Check the front screen as well to see the trim indicators

What Rx are you using? Some have reported issues with the AR8000's series. Try another Rx and see if that works.

Just checked the trim settings on the DX8 - here's what I found - Sub-Trim - Gear - +11 (this has been set so that I can switch from "A" to "Fail-Safe" or "GPS-ATI" I then checked on the DX8 setting screen and the trims are all set to 5 on both the TBS and DJI can't find any other trim locations.

Gear channel sub-trim is ok to attain your Mode selections via the assistant but you don't want any stick trim/sub-trim.

After swapping out the Rx please post back

You have to calibrate your Tx then write. After that you need to power cycle your Naza, that includes powering off the copter and disconnecting the USB. If you don't do that, you will continue to get the same message.

It is possible your DX8 gimbal sensors are flaky. Check the TX monitor screen and see if they are jumping around. I had the same thing on my DJI Ace one where the heli always wanted to drift one direction in GPS hold with no stick inputs. I had to send my DX8 in for repair. Two weeks later I got it back and all sticks held solid at their center positions. The heli was solid after that with no other changes made. Not sure if this applies to your situation but it's something to consider.
