Those who are installing aftermarket touch screen entertainment/navigation systems in their vehicle can not only connect most FPV receivers in lieu of the entertainment system backup camera connections but can also make use of the newer MirrorLink functionality such that your Multirotor Apps can be run from the comfort of your vehicle (subject to bluetooth and/or wireless 802.11 b,g,n connectivity). Keep in mind that there could be some RF interference issues at 2.4Ghz with 802.11.
These options might be attractive in cooler weather for the camera operator and/or clients wanting to see FPV away from direct sunlight and from inside a warm vehicle. In the case of Pioneer they call the enhanced MirrorLink feature "CarPlay".
