Small questions that don't deserve their own thread

Hi!

Since I didn't found thread like this, I started new one. Lets stop flooding down interesting threads with new unneccessary one question threads. The title should tell enough; small questions and answers to them here.

Let me start with couple:
1. I'm building frame for quad and was wondering how much angle (Y-axis) there should be in the arms? I assume that more angle means more stability, but what would be optimal? Or should there be angle at all? The quad would be for aerial photography.

2. Do you have experiences using lipos parallel? For example using two 2500mah 4s 25C paraller versus one 5000mah 4s 50C seems very much more cost/weight effective.

2 2500 25c doesn't make 1 50c. It makes 5000 4s 25c. I do believe in using two smaller lipos over 1 big one for redundancy.

As for the arm angle the s800 I think is pretty well optimized. Not sure what the exact angle is though.

Great point it ain't so simple..

Well as this is my first frame I think wooden prototypes will do the job when testing. Then final from aluminium.
