Slight wobble on decent F550 Wookong-M Gains Setting could solve

I was descending from50 Meters and bringing down quite slowly, well I think i was... I got a slight wobble in part of the descent. I've read that Hex' do give a little wobble due to coming down in it's own wash. I've also read that there could be a gains adjustment.

What gains where can I find it and how do I do this..

Thanks

Vin

I have learned to not come straight down. I usually glide the craft back and forth, side to side. That way it stays out of the dirty air that the props make. As far as your other post, CONGRATS! 50m. Lots of fun. I fly at a soccer field all the time and I have become super comfortable flying above that at all kinds of heights. It does get a bit nerve racking for me once it gets up there because you can lose orientation real easy. Trick for me is to stay calm, plenty of time to figure things out. I am adjusting the gains on the fly. Once I get my bird in the air I try to dial the gains given the conditions. Im not sure that the gains would make the wobble happen just on decent. Meaning if they were too high I think it would be noticeable all the time. BUt I am a newbie too. So I could be wrong, but I would be willing to bet the wobble on the decent would go away if you weren't coming straight down. Hopefully someone will correct me if I am way off base. Have fun flying and congrats again on the new found level of comfort....

Thanks for the info.. I guess taking the nerves out will eventually come. I've really got to get confidence in RTH funttion so if all goes pear shaped then hit the switch. Will have to try when no wind so to make sure all is good. Might try on the switch and set to 5 meters so as not too high.

Will see.

everything ive flown so far has a wobble in decent, it just varries by how fast im going in ff to get out of the prop wash, and how much or how little throttle is given. ive done some decents going forward from 20m up and sub 15% throttle and its moving at a decent speed and had little wobble.

I think it's me getting used to it, I hadn't seen these before I brought one, just saw them on YouTube and needed to get one. Once I get used to its characteristics I'm sure I will enjoy even more..

After messing with my gains extensively I noticed my quad came down much much smoother after setting my vertical gain higher...Now if the throttle is below a certain point it still wobbled a little but I really like the thought of going side to side bring the quad down...if you want a quicker decent that sounds great i'm going to try that myself...But if you adjust your vertical gain higher (mine is at 140) at -25% throttle she comes down as smooth as she goes up!
