Slight counter clockwise rotation issue

I have a slight counter clockwise rotation issue on my 450, I was reading somewhere and seen where people say leave the trims alone on the radio.

Does anyone have an idea on how to eliminate this twist? She will hover fine, but just has that very slow rotation which is a little annoying. I thought the gyro should keep it from doing this?

I had the same problem, for me increasing the yaw gain in the Naza assistant fixed the issue. I think I had mine set to around 160. You might also want to check that the props aren't slipping.
HTH.

Make sure you don't have any subtrim/trim either.
Also I have seen a transmitter with a wonky stick gimbal cause these problems.

I'd Recalibrate the sticks too

Thank you guys, the only sub trim on my radio is on the Aileron which is +18, I did set that at zero but was unable to calibrate my sticks like that.

Will look into the Yaw, can't remember what mine is set at but I find it weird that the Naza Gyro is not seeing this and correcting it.

Not sure the props can slip, they are the supplied DJI props on the Supplied DJI motors, which are keyed I guess you might call it. I know, I am going to change them out later for something better.. :)

I strongly suggest removing any and all trim/sub-trim on a MR.
If you can't calibrate the Futaba without subtrim there is something wrong there... Hmmmm

Yeah, I don't know why, but it was defaulted to that. I will remove it before plugging into the naza and try calibrating again.

Ok, I figured it out and got it set. Tried it again and it still has the counter clockwise rotation, so I thought, maybe the little nic I have in one of my blades was the fault. So I swapped out the DJI supplied 8" to the 10" running the 3c 2200mAh battery and it still had the same twist.

My f550 did the same on my WKM. If your using GPS maybe magnetic north setting. I twisted to the left MY SETTINGS on GPS and sorted. Also check no interference ie washing poles ect mobile phone in pocket causing issues.

Just a guess if using GPS on Naza.

Thanks for the reply, No GPS as of yet.... I misread the manual to begin with and tried to calibrate the Naza like it had the GPS, could this have affected it?

Wow, supertard strikes again.. I figured it out but really don't know how I did it, I had yet again, 2 motors and 2 blades rotating the wrong direction.. M1 was correct, M2 was correct M3 was wrong and M4 was wrong. But it would fly ok and hover ok.... How weird is that.

I always mark motor 1 and the prop direction with a sharpie. Once you know one arm and direction all others are opposite adjacent to that motor.

That is not such a bad Idea, I marked M1 through M4, just not directions. Funny thing is, I had motors the wrong way before and I think when I did the motor rotation, I changed the blades too when I should have just done the blades.

Fly's great now... No rotation, much easier to fly about my yard. Now I can get used to moving around, did a lot of back and forth getting more and more used to it. Keeping it fairly close and moving down the end of the backyard.

Extremely happy with it.
