I severd a couple wires on a couple of my axi motors in a crash, can i just splice em up and solder then heatshrink? Are there better methods...

Depends if it's the silicon multi-strand that broke (in which case, sure - splice and get back in the air) or the motor winding wire itself where it comes out of the bottom of the motor(in which case you'll need to strip the shellac coating and effect a very careful twist/splice - really tricky, not guaranteed to hold up).
