S800 ESC heat Dissipation?

Wondering if that is a reason why the shims are underneath the motor mounts and not between the ESC and the Arm instead?


I can see that the angle of the motors would be effected in control, but if the fix was for heat dissipation, wouldn't it be more effective in ESC heat dissipation between the ESC and the arms instead?

The shims are for tightening up the yaw response only. The heat from the ESC's should not be a problem with the latest V4's Mine get hardly warm.
