Rough Start

Hey guys my name is Julien im currently residing in Arizona which is a pretty cool place to fly. I have a dji F550 that I built with help from a friend who got me into flying. I also have the fat shark predator v2 for fpv flight. I really enjoy it and think its one of the coolest hobbies ever. I've been flying it for little over a month with two encounters with trees my first day out lol. Unfortunately I was flying in a field the other night in fpv and flew into a power line. Now I have no light on my ar610 receiver. I will post another thread explaining the error codes and more detailed explanation of my problems. I will go ahead and thank everyone for there help in advance because I know I will need it.

If it isn't working at all. Try to re-bind if that doesn't work then replace it.

My naza comes on goes though intnitial cycle flashes green three times then it starts flashing red so fast it almost gave me a seizer j/k. Try to rebind it and that didn't work. I hooked a new receiver up it blinked for split second then no power. I am wondering if I fried the naza it supplies power to the receiver through the throttle? When I plug it in to my computer the light turns green and syncs to my computer but no controller I get a error can't think of it off the top of my head right now ERR-FEG or something like that.

Please make sure you have your props removed when playing with the controller and RX, you never know what might happen!! I think I would throw that receiver away as I could never trust it now its been through wires. You can get jolly good cheap ones from HK. Then at least you know that part is good. The controller might be the next issue but again you need not spend a fortune replacing it with DJI.

Thanks for the info Gary. I have the props off luckily the crash took care of that for me lol. I will throw it away i was going to replace it with another spetrum ar610 they are like 50dollars unless you suggest something else. Same thing go's for the controller I was going to buy another dji lite they are 169.00 it seemed to work great before but open to ideals I am also building a f450 for better flight times so any advise on RX's MC's I am all ears.

There are other Rx's out there. Just remember that Spektrum will not warrant any issues if you use a different Rx with their Tx. As to the controller??? That is always an option. Others with more smarts than I will need to chime in on that part.
