You can control Record on/off and zoom in/out function with this shutter. This shutter has variable zoom speed with using any stick of your transmitter. Shutter works with standart Lanc protocol. If your camera has LANC or REMOTE interface you can use this shutter.

This version works with 2.5mm LANC or REMOTE plugs. Some Sony, Canon and Panasonic cameras has 2.5mm Lanc interface. Please check Lanc interface plug type of your cameras before order.

New models Sony cameras using 10Pin plug for Lanc control. Sony 10 Pin shutter version will be soon.

Panasonic GH2 compatible? I am not sure if the 2.5 mm jack on the GH2 is LANC.

I am sorry. This shutter just for camcorders. GH2 not lanc compatible.
It is true, GH2 has 2.5mm remote jack for remote control but GH2 shutter is different then this shutter. You can controlling just photo function with GH2 remote shutter. RC shutter for GH2 will be available within 7-10 days. I m waiting for 2.5mm jacks for gh2 (gh2 jack has 4 pole, not same with standart audio jacks).
