Ran before I walked

I was searching for some help with my DJI F550 build and found this forum, so I joined because I found many similar likes. I'm a rookie at the RC & Multicopter arena because in May 2014 I bought my first DJI Phantom 2V+, two weeks later I damaged it and tried to fix it myself. After dismantling it, I put it together but could not get it to start up again. So, I sent it in for repair to DJI. While I waited for it to return I built the F550 and added the Naza-M V2, GPS, H3-3D Gimbal, iOSDmini, 2.4GHz Datalink, CAN-BUS, and added 10inch retractable landing gear along with the Futaba T10J Tx/ R3008SB Rx. All that and I don't know exactly how to get the T10J completely configured with the Naza using the Naza Assistant Software. I get stuck after calibrating the AETR. I'll repost most of this message in a help forum or more appropriate location. Thanks.

By the way--Hi from Central Texas! Looking forward to learning and hearing from the experts, and anyone else. I'm just a simple rookie.

Ran Before Walked: First MultiRotor Build, an F550 with Naza-M V2, GPS, Landgear Retr

I built the F550 and added the Naza-M V2, GPS, H3-3D Gimbal, iOSDmini, 2.4GHz Datalink, CAN-BUS, and added 10inch retractable landing gear along with the Futaba T10J Tx/ R3008SB Rx. All that and I don't know exactly how to get the T10J completely configured with the Naza using the Naza Assistant Software. I get stuck after calibrating the AETR. I am confused by the Futaba User Manual and researching written material I find many grammatical errors which don't help much. If anyone reading this has any comments or help, I would be very grateful.

To configure your futaba do a search on this forum or google and you will find many youtube videos on it.

you need to really understand the radio and how the end points work when you configure it with assistant to make sure the modes and failsafe worked as expected.

i think its great you built your own setup as now you have a better idea of all the parts.

enjoy and be safe
