General wiring question to make sure I don't fry anything.
I'm wiring up my S800 with WKM for separate gimbal control for a 2 operator setup. I'm using HiTec Optima 9 for the flight control, and thinking about using a cheapo OrangeRx for the gimbal control since I have a DX6i laying around.
My Optima 9 is wired with the SPC port so it is getting it's power from the flight batteries, not from the PMU of the WKM. I flew this setup on my last Hexa and it worked great to get basic telemetry from the Optima 9.
QUESTION: Does anyone see an issue with wiring the Optima 9 with the SPC port power coming from the mains battery while I power the OrangeRX from the WKM PMU 3A 5V line that goes to the Main Controller at X1? So the layout would be as in the attached...
