Positive Drones Exposure Kaite Couric

Just watch on DVR the first part of Katie Courics show today (1st time ever watching).

She did 2 segments on Drones. VERY POSITIVE......


1st segment she interviews VP of Parrot, gal from USA Today, and Mary Scavo (former Inspector General for dept of transportation, aviation expert).
Mary mentions 3 concerns, 1. Privacy, 2. Safety for people on ground. 3. Safety for people in the air.

She says 2 and 3 are biggest FAA issues and they won't have an air control system for many years that can cope with this... She mentioned the 2015 deadline.

The gal from USA today talked about all the people in the hobby and business. K. Couric even talked about rates for hire and how this was going to explode as they are so many positive uses.

Overall, I thought it was a good presentation, maybe not as in-depth as some would like, but it's good POSITIVE P.R.

Anything good is better than the negative, fear inducing stuff I'm reading all the time.... You ought to look at it and share it on your social networks to share it with your non flying friends....

"Good news doesn't sell" as the old newspaper publisher adage goes...

Unfortunately most people in the USA have been conditioned to only pay attention to bad news and media sensationalism, they'd rather read/watch 10 stories of disaster in the making rather than 1 that brings good news about anything (unless of course it's about free money or something equivalent).
