Polarizing filter for GH4/Olympus 12mm?

I've been asked to try a polarizing filter to shoot from the S900/Z15 with GH4 12mm. My past experience tells me it's tricky to not to mess up the sky with polarizers. Anyone have success or advice and the kind of polarizer to use, linear or circular?

Linear or circular does not matter. A circular polarizer alleays has a linear polarizer in front anyway. The circular polarizer is just there to make the prism in DSLRs behave as expected.

And yes, it is tricky to use polarizers on a wide angle lens. It will catch a large portion of the sky and the polarization of the sky will differ over the image.
