Can any one tell me what the frequency of the SAVOX SC-1258TG servo?

The WooKong M alows for frequency input on the gimbal settings. (50 Hz to 400 Hz)

Any idea what the Alware MD260 servos are? I had the same question. Could not find anything on google either.

NV.. I found it at alwarerc shop.

Analog servos are usually limited to 50Hz - some will take around 70Hz but more than that can actually fry some analog servos.

Most digital servos will operate at 333Hz. You can drive them at 400Hz but there would likely be no difference over 333Hz.

Specialised tail gyro servos use a different frame size and usually won't work at all as gimbal servos.

That Alware is odd - I've never seen 200Hz as a quoted spec before - strange :)

Does anyone know what these change do? or the effect? I have always left mine default.. did not even pay attention to it. the Alware Gimbal works. what would the effect be if I raise the freq?. is it like adding more teeth to a gear, causing the gear to have smoother effect?

Higher update rate means the movement of the servo can be "more up to date" with what the controller is telling it to do. I wouldn't say that always means "smoother" - there are so many variables. But if you can increase the rate then it is better to do so.
