Photo HIgher Skyline Rock Solid Gimbal Stabilisation

AV200 and Av130 gimbal stabilisation

This is the Av200 with Canon 550D and 10mm lens - we will post video with a 16-35mm lens later this week when it stops raining.

This is the Av130 https://vimeo.com/39091397

Please note the Skyline gyro will only work with the Av200 and AV130 gimbals.
It will also work with all current gimbals - so good news is that you can upgrade with this plug and play rock solid gyro.
Boards are in production at the moment and will be released for sale mid April. The cost of the boarsds will be aproximately US$250.00 hopfully we can keep the price a little lower. We will know more once we get final costs with large volume production.

These video were shot in quite strong wind conditions to try and give an idea of how well it actualy works.

Please clarify. Will the Skyline work only with AV200-AV130 or with all gimbals?

Just kidding :)

If I would buy a AV130 and Skyline, will there be a combo deal the first couple of days ???
Just like to know if I should go for a AV130 now or wait a bit... ;-)

I think they mean with all current AV 130 and AV 200 models that are already in customer hands or ? Not as in alls Gimbals including CS 8 etc. :(

<O:p</O:pThere is no reason to hold off on any current purchases - that way you can get the gimbal setup and when the stabilization is ready and distributors etc are stocked up they you can get the Skyline gyro and it is really easy to install on the gimbal.

People have been asking if it will be possible to use the Skyline on other camera mounts - the honest answer is yes it is possible to use it however we do not know how well it will work. Initially we need to make sure the gyros work well on our gimbals mainly the Av130 and Av200 and ensure all our customers are looked after and are happy. Then we can look at a more generic system for other setups.

I think if you have a gimbal that is a similar configuration mainly gearing and servos then the Skyline gyro will work on you other gimbals.

With regards to production and availability this is what we are planning- We are manufacturing about 50 boards now they will be ready next week. These will be sent to distributors who can test and review, this will also give us one more go to finalize the firmware and make sure everything is working well before the big production.

So by the end of April we will be shipping our the Skyline boards to distributors and any other pre order we have taken through our web site. The priority will be to distributors.
I hope this give everyone a clear picture.

Thank you,
