If you are a user of the DJI Phantom prop guards please be aware of the following.
The prop guard kit comes with 8 long mounting screws.
Each guard uses 2 of these longer mounting screws in place of 2 short stock DJI motor mount screws.
If you decide to remove the prop guards DO NOT REUSE THE 2 LONG SCREWS.
Reinstall the original 2 stock DJI motor mount screws in lieu of the 2 long prop guard screws.
REUSING THE 2 LONG PROP GUARD SCREWS WITHOUT THE PROP GUARD IN PLACE WILL CAUSE THE LONG SCREWS TO DAMAGE THE WINDINGS OF PHANTOM'S MOTORS.
