How much!?!? Thats crazy money...

I can buy 3 peli cases for that. I have no issues breaking down the s800.

Thanks anyway though.

i dont think you get a pelicase for that money.
we make them for production company,s that film everyday.
they need to set it up within 10 minutes
as said i tried the biggest pelicase and still did not fit , and in overall it was to long and big to get it transported for airlines.
our case costs normal baggage price up to 25 kilo so free for any flight

Hi

Sorry, yes I'm sure they are very good, but just not for me.

I was thinking more;

1 peli for s800
1 peli for zemuse

I know I can but cases that will fit but wanted to know if anyone had already done this and if so what size were they using.

Thanks for your help though ;)

i never found a pelicase that can fit them
i dont think you will be removing the zenmuse everytine? you need to let it attached onto the landing gear.
and i found no peli that can house the landing gear.
believe me i tried

hmmm you can fit the landinggear plus zen in one of the peli cube and the s800 with arms off easily in another pelicase.

http://www.peli.com/en/maletas-grandes-de-proteccion-0350.html

But Sandor has a point price wise. Wont be cheap to go the peli vase path !

here is how we do it.
you can use the original packaging for the S800 to hold the booms
on top you put the Landing gear and the zenmuse rests on the foam
the top isulation hold all together

PM'd you Jack.

That's a top solution and i particularly like the custom(?) foam insert. Bet you can use the closed box as a launch/landing pad too…

Try Swanflight for your cases , they will be happy to custom make one any shape or size .
Prices are reasonable also .

Looks like maybe a pelican 1660? here

I'm using a 1620 but have to break down my legs. Since I have to check the copter might switch to the 1660.
