    Hi forum,

I want to open a discussion regarding an emerging type of drones that might have potential in aerial photography. As I don't have long experience in aerial photography, I though maybe here I can here what the experts have to say.

The type of drones I am talking about is omnidirectional drones, i.e. it is a platform that can hold any configuration in space, it can move without tilting and can tilt 360 degrees in any direction while holding position. An example of these platforms can be seen here: https://www.voliro.ethz.ch/

Will be great to hear the opinion of experts in aerial photography whether these kind of platforms can open the door for new shoots that cannot be taken by classic drones+gimabl. How do you see the future of such platforms in the field of aerial photography?
