Uncle Sam taught me to fly Army helicopters back in 1966. I dare say it was an easier venture than teaching myself how to fly a quadcopter! On a whim, I bought a Blade QX3 and, while at the hobby shop to pick it up, realized I could just as easily destroy my new $500.00 toy as not. So, on my way out, I purchased a Dromida Ominus to use as a trainer. I'm a day and a half into it and, indoors, I'm starting to get the hang of hovering without over controlling it to a crash.
