Jonathan one of my customers has posted a video on youtube today , I think this is a brilliant video and one that deserves a place in the Hall of Fame .
I think the flying location could have been chosen more wisely lol.
Anyway Jonathan is hoping to come to the Uk Quad Meet this weekend and I have asked him to come and join this friendly forum .
Enjoy the video

Yes it is near Pickering , I dont think he has done major damage , just a few bent booms etc .

If you listen closely you can hear a low frequency "buuuuuurrrrrrp" the moment prior to loss of control. Wonder if a prop nut came loose and the prop was slipping under torque while also allowing the machine to somewhat keep flying?

Those electricity pylons are bound to interfere with the electronics and the radio signals.Good job it didn`t come down on any of the display aircraft.

Hi all, that was my Hexa. After watching closely it's pretty obvious what happened. wayno complaino was right, just before it all turns to poo a red car pulls up to a building and a woman runs from the car into the building. She was obviously telling them to arm the death ray, it was only my Flash Gordon-like skills that enabled my to avoid a complete catastrophe. It's the only thing that makes any sense.

So, those lines are effecting the compass. Whatif, we fly in these kind of areas without compass and GPS? (Only FC). Would the consequence be same? Or would we fly with less problems?

I think, compass is more affected than the radio by EMI created by electric pylons.
