Newb from Phoenix

I am wanting to learn about multirotors for work. I looked around and really didn't find all that much information other than sales sites, and part dealers (all selling the same parts). This seems to be the most active multirotor forum I could find.

I plan on paperbuilding multi before I totally jump in.

Are there any Phoenix, Arizona members or multirotor groups that I can contact for a Cliff's Notes intro and mentoring?
