You don't give us enough info to help you. Have you connected it to Assistant? Have you read the manual. How about calibrating the Tx, setting the gains and the X, Y and Z coordinates? What Tx/Rx combo are you using? As you can see a lot of questions, and all we have is an octo with WKM and beeping.

havnt connected to assistant yet. I followed the manual to hook up components. I was doing binding and when powered up it beeps. I didn't want to leave plugged in to prevent dammage

Octo eh? Looks like you're going to have plenty of fun calibrating esc's then? Not sure if you're doing this already, but I always unplug the xt connector from the main dist board and hook up any old lipo to power just the M & Rx, 'Safe mode'! Especially with 8 blades, if that thing fires up unexpectedly you could end up looking like a victim of knife crime.
