New registrations

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Hi everyone,
Every day we get new registrations as people find out about the site. To keep spammers out I have the site set up to require moderator approval for every new registration so after people register they get an email that requires a confirmation step. Once they follow the confirmation directions their account goes into the "Users Awaiting Moderation" queue where I have to manually approve, delete, or ignore their activation. I get an email notifying me of their account when they first register but I can't do anything with it until after the confirmation step is completed. For this reason, I've stopped trying to approve new accounts at multiple times each day and now do it once at the end of the day and sometimes the following day when I'm having coffee in the morning. I've also stopped because a lot of times a new user notification ends up being a spammer and I can't continue to stop twenty times a day to do this when half the times it's for a spammer which I then delete anyway.
So I'm sorry for those of you that have had to wait a day or two to have full access to the site but there's a reason why I'm slow sometimes and I thought some of you might appreciate an explanation as to why.
Have a great day and enjoy the site.

BTW, has everyone found the Active Threads tab just below the site header graphic? It's a handy way to see which threads are active at any given time!

In addition to adding access for the Tapatalk app I'm also adding an application to the website that will automatically compare new registrations against a spammer database. New registrations that don't generate a response from the database will be given access immediately. Suspected spammers will be dealt with as room becomes available on the guillotine.:devilish::devilish:

Enjoy the site!!

Brilliant Bart, thanks. I just can't find the forums in the tapatalk list...what name did you register it under? Do you think it takes a while to register on their app?

Gunter.
