Yes, it is wired for duel batteries, but you also could use only one Batt.

You are right about the red and black, I do think they have chanced the vendor, somebody wrote that on the German forum.

Just looking at my Aerodrive, and I can`t find any corroding here, and everything looks mashined to me.

Not a great macro lens but here's a couple. Try zooming if you can. I'll try again with another cam later but I think these show some of my issues with QC.

I have no doubt that the board will work as there's evidence that it was tested. The motor pads have scratches consistent with a clip-on (gator clip) style connection. I'm sure the PDB is fine, my comments are nit-picking in nature. I just think they could have done a better job in final assembly, especially compared to the older red boards.

Maybe version 2 will address the finish. BTW, are they going to make a AeroDrive 4 or 6? Also, it looks like the AeroDrive 8 is set up for an additional board on top. Anyone know for what purpose if it is?

It's possible the surface and finish of the solder might look like crap because it is the RoHS lead-free type.

Yes, there will be a Aerodrive 4 and 6 also, Bruno from Aerodron told me, that first to come is an extencion board, so it will be compatible with Wookong.

Hey Seattle, I'm anxious as well but I have a Red Bull HD shoot tomorrow morning in Tampa so the install will have to wait a couple of days.

I agree about the solder but they could still at least wash the boards after. That residue IS corrosive.
