Here is my promo video for my new design. Frame is Delrin with Carbon booms. Frameis simple and straightforward, but flies very well. I am still working out the controller plate holes so it will accomodate any board you want to put on it. A hex and Octo are also in the works.

looks nice and strong.. kool design too. What is the weight? I guess the builder could make the arms whatever size they like?? (I prefer 320 to 450 size frames). How did you mount the camera to the frame? I like frames that have plates to carry FPV gear/camera etc. Don't forget holes for the CC board =]

I haven't actually weighed it. I will try and get a weight of the airframe tomorrow. My main goal was to make a quad that will protect the controller and electronics in a crash situation. I have since removed the saw blades... I saw them as a potential problem with wires getting cut. The carbon booms are from HK (10mm), and can be any length desired. There are now clamp blocks that can be loosened and the boom will slide right out. I will have several top plate designs that will accomodate any camera you want to put on it (Go pro, FPV gear, etc). I have a CC board coming, so that mounting pattern will be added to the design as well...

New frame,

Chassis is ready for a HK board, Quadrino/Warthox boards, Copter Control board. Motor mounts will accomodate a Park 450 size motor or a little larger. Skid design is still in the works.

Would anyone be interested in something like this?

I am thinking about $100-125 mark with all hardware and chassis pieces.
