I recently had a big crash and snapped two of my HiLanders so I had to order a couple of replacements. Apparently they changed them and boy do they suck!
The new ones are so poorly manufactured that they all have to be drilled to allow the screws. Not worth it to save a couple micrograms. They are also bloody hard to put on.
Worst of all...the new legs aren't backward compatible with the old hardware!
old ones (nice, solid, easy to mount)
new ones (cheap, need to be drilled, hard to mount)
