Hello, my name is Chuck and I am new to multi-rotor flying. I'm on my 3rd quad in only a few weeks. The first was a little bitty Faze which got me hooked. Since then Ive bought another slightly larger model, protocol video drone xt. Not real happy with that one. My latest is a syma x5s, which is so stable and easy to fly. I say fly, but really I'm just at the "advanced hovering" stage of my development. Looking forward to real flying. I practice every day (maybe 20-30 minutes) trying to get smoother and smoother accurate control.
My long term interest would be at some point to build my own "heavy lift", semi-self flying quad for video work (similar to say a Phantom). I know I'd spent more money that way than just buying a RTF but its the journey that's important to me.
Not much interest in racers (fpv).
BUT first, I just want to learn to fly.
