Hi I have just joined the forum and do not have a multi yet as I wanted to make sure what is best for me and a LOT of other things I probably need to know about first. I do have a friend at our model club who has just got the X450, but I have not seen it fly yet. There seems to be a lot out there now and a great difference in prices! I ideally want to video, and eventually do fpv. I currently have the FY20 installed in a electric model plane. These units seem to be a reasonable price, and from what I've seen so far modular.

Hi John & welcome aboard. You need to study youtube & see what floats your boat..a tri, quad, hexa, octo X3,X4,X8 etc etc.
Then choose a flight controller (FC), the 2 main ones being DJI Wookong or MK. Do you want durability or redundancy?
It's very confusing to start off with, but after about 6 months some things start to sink in...like "How did I get into all this misery"
