New cinema Gimbal

Bartman

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
it's way overdue for a manufacturer to shroud the camera gear so wind and motion of the heli don't impact the very non-aerodynamic camera and mount making the stabilization's job harder.

good find!

There are several major flaws with this design.

Way too heavy.

Keeping an Epic cool on a hot day is hard enough. Black is a bad choice of color but people use it as they think it looks cool.

You need fast, easy, tool-less access to the camera or it is more trouble than it's worth. This doesn't appear to have this.

I haven't seen a MR so far that flys fast enough with an Epic to really need an enclosure. Below 45 mph wind buffeting isn't much of an issue.

I think this is awesome, I really like the direction of going with moving away from hobby grade brushless and moving into cinema grade. Maybe this gimbal has aways to go to prove itself. Maybe it wont be this gimbal, but the direction is great I think.
