[SOLVED] Need help - Naza Assistant bug keeping me on the ground

Edit: SOLVED - user error, not bug ------

It turned out to be my mistake. I didn't have the MC plugged in to the computer when I tried to install the USB driver. Consequently, the install failed silently. So I thought the driver was installed, but it was not. That's why it stopped mid-load.

Also, how Naza Assistant works is if the USB isn't connected/reading, it waits for you to connect it and 'pauses'. That's why it stopped. There is a skip button there if you you look closely - I don't know why my brain didn't pick up on that, but I wasn't the only one. Click it and it lets you into the program (though you still cant necessarily communicate with the MC).

Just needed to slow down a little bit. Whoops. :shame:

-------------------------

I'm running Boot Camp on a Macbook and Naza Assistant hangs on the splash screen every time I try and run it.

Can anyone advise on who to talk to so I can sort this out? I sent an email to support@dji-innovations.com this morning. Are there any other reps or perhaps 3rd part tech support who could lend experience? What is the usual time frame for these people to get back to you?

It's hard for me to see how I could be doing anything wrong. It's either a major bug specific to running in boot camp, or there is an issue related to my specific system that I hope I can find a workaround for. I need to be flying asap for my project, and will probably get a friend with a Windows machine to help me out for the time being, but you really want to have easy access to the program so you can tune the quad as needed.

Thanks,
Josh

I'm at work and can give more specific details on my system soon, but for now:

Snow leopard, late 2007 white macbook
Windows 7 32-bit on the boot camp partition

I reinstalled Windows and the same thing still happens. It always freezes at the same spot on the loading bar.
I have tried Naza Assistant version 1.0 instead, and it didn't work. I tried extracting the rar from a Mac app, and I tried a zip file instead that I found on the DJI site.

See this thread at rcgroups with a couple other people who have the same problem. I posted there earlier - my screen name is Neighbor.
