Naza v2 with v1 VU?

How do you go about running the naza v2 with the v1 VU? And not using the v2 PMU? I saw sander mention doing it, but was also told the v1 VU won't indicate what mode the naza is in.

Why would you want to do this? Usually guys are flying the NAZA V1 with the V2 PMU

Really? I was going to remove it just to save weight. What's so special about the PMU that guys with the v1 are using it?

it has the Can-Bus port so it allows NAZA V1 owners to attach an H3-2D gimbal (brushless GoPro)

if yo've got the NAZA-M V2 then you definitely don't want to change out the PMU and LED for a VU.
