Naza V2 First timer

Hey everyone

I just completed the build on my F450 yesterday.

I'm getting nervous regarding setting up the Naza.

Is there anything I should be aware of that isn't really defined in the instructions , or things I could do in the initial stages of set up to makes things easier?

I have watched about every video on you tube and read the manual.... I just want to make sure I don't miss something or do something slightly out of step and screw things up.

Thanks in advance

Make sure you set a proper failsafe.. Once you do this double check in the assistant. You should be able to power down your tx and watch the U channel slider go into failsafe. Make sure you ALWAYS remove props while bench testing!

Hi Tyahtts,

For beginners I always recommend the DJI videos. It can be time consuming but they do a really good job. The other thing I would do personally is set the NAZA up without the GPS or props and turn the motors on. rev them up and pick it up and wiggle it around. If it compensates right (motors spooling up and down) then add props. Then fly it in att mode. When that is done attach the GPS check the assistand to make sure it's in the right modes and calibrate the compass and you should be good to go!
