Can NAZA be controlled when it is connected to computer via USB ??????

What do you mean by 'controlled'?
You connect and setup the Naza using USB (it's the only way of accessing the Naza).

The only thing you can do while connected via USB is to program the Naza, it has no function to operate the controls of the vehicle.

Hmm I thought he was asking if he used the Tx if the multi would stop function when connected to the USB. I don't think the USB disables the craft

When plugged into the Assistant via the USB it should disable the motors/functions and allow you to see the control inputs & programmed functions to verify all is correct such as fail safes, flight modes, stick input...

ill be buying a NAZA module in another two months ...

i have made a wireless usb link which ill be using to connect my camera on the craft to a laptop on the ground ...

i want something to monitor the lipos from ground ... since i already have a usb link , i was just thinking of linking the NAZA to computer as well , NAZA has a good voltage monitor in the assistant software i guess (just to save cost and weight of an additional voltage monitor.. i have already crossed my budget )...

then i read somewhere that NAZA has a safety feature which cuts off the output to the ESCs when connected to a computer ....
so i am asking , can that feature be turned off ????
will i be able to fly when connected to a computer ?????

As DesJardins said, You can't that I have seen overide in the software. It is a safety feature to stop accidental injury from the unit. Why don't you just use the onboard LED on the V-SEN unit? When you set it up right, it can warn you when your battery is going low.
Mine is on the bottom of my 450, so when it is overhead, I can see that status of the unit. Without FPV it is not going to be going to far away from view anyway.

so i guess i will have to buy a voltage monitor ...

i dont like to keep an eye on those LEDs .. i want to concentrate more on photography ...

and keeping a track of those LEDs against a bright tropical sky where i live is next to impossible ..;P

The battery monitor? If this is what your asking, yes.

The led is pretty bright, I don't think it is quite a 1 watt LED, but it is very bright and I can see mine in bright sunlight. You can get a fairly cheap monitor that beeps when the voltage gets to its bad level...

Another reason I use the voltage monitor onboard, if it gets critical, it will land itself.

i dont want type of monitors that beep or honk ...

autoland withoutGPS (i wont be buying GPS) will kill the drone and the payload even if it is slow and smooth .... since the place where i live has tall trees and water too .. i dont want the drone to get tangled in trees 15meters above ground or fall in water with the autoland ...

since i already have a wireless usb link , , a cheap webcam pointing at NAZA's LED beeper will be a better option i guess ...
If anyone knows about a cheap usb voltmeter , please let me know ... thanks ..
