trying to troubleshoot my problem and am getting no where...dji f450 w/naza and gps...everything dji stock...tried to plug in my 3s lipo got a small spark...now the naza doesn't go thru its sequence..no sound and the motors won't arm...also led light strips on arms don't light up(soldered on)..rx ar8000 is bound and led is lit..i am getting a flashing green light in gps mode, yellow in atti and no light in manual..everything in software assistant looks correct..tried reloading firmware and still the same problem.....did something possibly short out?? can i rule out the naza unit? maybe i should try putting on a new battery connector...help is appreciated....PLEASE...Prior to this everything was great..very stable..RTH worked flawlessly..gps mode was rock solid ....no crashes....

I would complete the firmware process, re-write everything into the Naza, calibrate everything to start.
Anyone local have a Naza to try out?

Are your motors beeping during the initial plug in?
Is the LED working on the BEC indicating the different modes. Yellow for Alt, Green for GPS of you have a compass installed?

ok..thats what i thought you meant...i already did all of that..still the same results...no one local to test out naza unit....i am thinking something shorted out?? maybe try a new lipo connector to the board...or maybe vu went bad?? no way to test ?

Ok so everything registers in assistant with stick movement, switch selection works, LED is working but your just not hearing the audible initialize?

Try turnin off your "voltage monitoring" in assistant and / or recalibrating the voltage...

Rebound the Tx and Rx already correct?

if u arent getting sounds then the esc's and motors dont sound like they are getting power, as the sounds come from the motors.
everything soldered correctly?

it was working for a few months...i just noticed a small tear on the negative wire of the bullet battery connector...is it possible to short these connectors out?...that might explain why i got a small spark when connecting to my lipo??

Well it seems you have tried the majority.
I say replace the plug and cross your fingers!

Or you might need to put on a new bottom board to rule that out too

so i found the problem but am a bit confused...i have led strip lights soldered to the esc connections on the board...so i decided to connect the led strip lights to the balance connector of the lipo(led lights are still soldered on)...when i did this the led strip lights lit up and the f450 powered on and was able to arm the motors...pull out the balance plug and the motors shut off...glad i found out the problem but have no idea why this is happening or what to do about it...

thru process of elimination i am going on the hunch that it has to be the VU....ordered a new one...will let you know...
