Naza gains?

Got my first f550 flight in with camera and gimbal the other day. Overall, it's very responsive and flies well. On GPS mode it's solid as a rock even in lots of wind.

Right now my gains are at default. 2 questions:

1.) I'm using the Tarot t-2d gimbal which is only a 2 axis gimbal... so I'm getting that side to side wobble in GPS mode. Is this something that can be eliminated by lowering the yaw gain? Or do I just have to get used to using Atti when I want smooth video?

2.) I have exponential curves set up on my sticks which is helpful, but my Tx won't let me set one the way I want for throttle, so the throttle feels WAY too responsive, a slight bump in either direction and it seems to quickly climb, or drop! Can I adjust throttle gains to settle this down? Right now it hovers perfectly at 50%... definitely don't want to lose that.

In general I'm a little confused about gains as they relate to both the radio control and naza control... I'd like to fine tune the controls on my end, but I don't want to tweak anything and mess up the nice stability it appears to have.

Thoughts?

Yes or really smooth use manual mode, for forward flight though it should be pretty stable as long as you do not add and yaw input.
