My first build, how do my choices look?

Ok so fist let me say thanks to the community, I have been flying rtf smaller units for some time and no matter my search term my googling always seems to lead me here...

so now I am ready to invest a bit in a larger unit, but as this is my first build I was hoping for some opinions on my options.

I will us it with my current tarot gopro gimbal, I also want to keep using my current Spektrum DX9

So heres what I was thinking,

Frame:

Tarot T960 Hexacopter Frame Set USD $399.90
http://www.helipal.com/tarot-t960-hexacopter-frame-set.html
why? seems like a lot of frame for the $

also add on the TL96018 Battery Mounting Plate USD $19.90
and the TL96014 Mounting Rail USD $24.90

Controller:

DJI Combo (WKM + Bluetooth Data Link + iOSD MKII) USD $1199
http://www.helipal.com/dji-wookong-...-w-gps-free-2-4ghz-data-link-50-waypoint.html
again looked like good bang for the buck, I had looked at the a2 but from what I can tell its still rather flakey and does not play all that nice with spektrum is the older controler a mistake?

ESC:

Hobbywing Platinum 30A-OPTO Pro ESC (B Type) USD $25.90 x 6
http://www.helipal.com/platinum-30a-opto-pro-speed-controller.html

Motor:

Vici PS4010 High Power Brushless Motor (370kv) USD $49.90 x 6
http://www.helipal.com/vici-ps4010-high-power-brushless-motor-370kv.html

Blades:

Tarot 1555 Carbon Propellers (Two Holes / CW and CCW) USD $28.90 x 6
http://www.helipal.com/tarot-1555-carbon-propellers-two-holes-cw-and-ccw.html

My Budget is ~3k so I guess what would an experienced builder change? am I missing anything? I appreciate the opinions!

Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions! I have a DX9 and receiver I will use.
I was thinking about 4 of these batteries used 2 at a time http://www.helipal.com/storm-22-2v-5000mah-25c-lipo-battery-pack.html

what do u think?

i wasn't sure about blade length at all so I had just picked one that showed up as often bought with the frame. So thanks for the blade suggestion.

anyone else have any feedback?

Hmm, I've never done two batteries but I have seen it. Just wondering, why you are spending so much on a first quad? Is it going to be for video?
Oh and also you should look for a canopy for that frame to protect some of your parts. http://www.radioc.co.uk/Carbon-Fiber-look-canopy-for-Tarot-680pro-p/3034.htm
That's what they will look like somewhat. I know tarrot makes them but I cannot find any, but with some searching I'm sure you can find one.
