The only sure part about your post is that if you don't enter you cant win.

It's a bit like that old saying. How many people does it take to change a light bulb. answer =100 Thats one to do it and 99 to say I could have done that.
JUST DO IT and stop posting all these lame excuses. Bart went to a lot of trouble to organize this. Everyone wants to win but only a few want to do anything in return.

By the way i did have a fantastic idea of drawing the star on the floor using uv dye then showing the star afterwards but after see my test video i realised it would end up looking like a childs scribble on the floor......lol :0)

Hi Crash
It my boss's Robin Hood kit car, very similar to the locost as both are copies of the Lotus 7. Mainly used for track days when we get the time.

Mark,
Great action. You got the job done. ....I got my Gaui working again but my attempt is already done - Murphy's law.

Well done for finishing the task. That string looks to be a little short of the 10 ft. Nearer to 3 ft. but at least you got there OK.

Hi Denny Yeah i know the string is a bit short, thats all i had to hand and also the cars on the ramps limited my air space so couldnt go much longer.

Well, it's not that i'm bloody competitive or that i would really like to have some wookong kit on my 3DR frame, but having noticed denny's comment about string length, i thought i'd better have a go with a correct(ish) length of string and 5 containers.

To be honest, it's another minute of farce ending with me needing to visit electricwingman…

Mitigating circumstances - apart from the obvious - there is actually a gusty breeze blowing today.

I'm filming with a gopro chesty on and there's a cheapo camera under the quad's lipo.

Next stop broken windows and physical injury, probably.

Nice one plingboot, might do another video this weekend as I have a weekend off work at last. This time I'll try it with the 10ft of string, I know I've already put my entry up but hey it was fun and I want to know if I can do it with the 10ft string.....:0)

Sorry about the weather guys, You should have done it last week when the weather was great. My assistant Pambos wants to have a go so I am going to lend him my Minsoo Kim Quad. He is a useful pilot. Hope there is enough time left. Cant help him as I will be spending all day in a stuffy hotel signing books. Was hoping to give him a flame wheel but it didn't arrive. Cyprus post is miserable at the best of times. good luck for tomorrow.

Mark, nice try. I watched both videos at the same time which made things interesting!

Pling, I think you should win, even if it's just for the brilliant background music, which was perfectly timed for that crash!

I wanted to do it sooner, but my esc's gave up on me last week. I hastily ordered some bigger, bad boy jobbies and she's flying great. I have only flown once since another total rebuild, so fingers crossed she will be dialled in tomorrow, ready to do the challenge.

Problem is that I only have one bucket...and 5 balls, so there may be a slight twist to my entry :)

Here's hoping for no wind in the morning...

Gunter.

Damn this is a LOT harder than I thought. I'll try it again with no wind but 10' is an impossible amount of rope to swing around accurately. This contest is probably going to come down to best music and crash, which Plingboot has a lead on. :)
