Mounting tape

Well here is another question. For mounting the gyro unit should I use foam pads or just use double stick tape.

Use the double sided tape for the gyro and use something like servo tape for the IMU.

I am confused re the difference in tape. I have used little pads like the Gaui comes with or double stick tape on a roll

I just use the 3M outdoor double sided tape. It has a little cushion but not like the foam pads.

The round disks that come with the WKM are just double sided tape, there's no cushion to it. Gyro tape or foam tape has some cushion so vibration doesn't get through, the Gaui mounting tape is far too soft, it needs to be a bit firmer for the WKM IMU.
