Mount NEX under DJI F550 - No gimbal

Expecting UPS to drop of my NEX 6 w 16MM 2.9 lens.

Looking to mount this under my DJI F550. I have no gimbal and don't really want one at this point. Besides the F550 is probably maxed out on weight with just the camera and rigid mount.

I plan on fashioning my own camera mount out of lightweight material.

I thought if any of you folks have mounted an NEX under and F550 you might share pics etc.

I'd like my mount to have and adjustable angle pitch so I can tweak it to get the horizon where in the frame want it. As you might expect I'm only after stills, not video.

Since you're only shooting stills, why not keep it VERY simple and suspend it upside down? All you really need is a lightweight friction ball mount attached directly to the bottom plate, then screw the camera onto the mounting stud. The friction ball mount will give you all the adjustability you need, and keep the weight to a minimum. I know that Gorilla Pod makes a very small, sturdy ball mount that you can buy separately

Just a thought.
