I couldnt find the motors discussion thread so i figured id start a new one.
any sort of input that you experts may have to offer for various setups, applications, and flights can go here.
as a brand new member of the forums id like to start the topic off with a question of my own..
i know there's a line between necessary, and overkill. of course it all depends on what u plan on using your multirotor for.
but i was wondering if there was a specific kV number that should be used for early build models on both tricopters and quadrotor r/c's?
i myself am looking into building a Y650 scorpion that will eventually carry a goPro. but there are so many variables that still confuse me when picking the proper prop size, and motor power.
