motor threads and rotations

CW motors clock wise and CCW counter clock wise meaning the motors turn that direction (?) Do the props tighten in the opposite direction?
Or a CW motor takes a cc prop and CCW takes c prop, boy I hope I said that right?

I ordered a CW motor ad it takes a black, cc, self locking prop does that sound right?
This is not as easy as it seems especially for a new guy.
