Well what to say... 4:2:2 color sampling raw video on canons 5d mark II and mark III. Too bad it took Black magic so long to come to market.

Very much looking forward to the stable release of this. We've never been happy w 5D3 video but this really does change things. 4:2:2 at 12 stops Raw for 3K? Time to trim the workflow, storage bloat is the criminal underbelly of Raw. We were/are still interested in the BMCC4K especially w no more ridiculous crop factor but it lost 2 stops from its predecessor!? RED still wins the DR game but 5D3 Raw is gonna make it very hard to see the difference except for the pixel peepers. Especially since a BUNCH of folks have 5D3's and not so many Reds... Too early to talk about death of 4K????
