Long time RC Flyer getting into scratch built multirotors.

Hi everyone, my name is Brent. I have been flying RC planes for over 30 years now. Last year I start getting in to multi rotors. I just bought an AC-BEE 470 frame kit from RC Timer and a Tarot RC ZYX-M 25 flight controller. The flight controller is where I will need all the help I can get. I worked on jet aircraft in the Marine Corps for 9 years so the mechanical side is easy for me but the flight controller programing is my weakness. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I hope to here from you guys soon.

Hey Brent! Welcome to MRF. You've stumbled on the right place for all the help you'll need. Great group of folks here always willing to lend a hand.

That FC is very new. Seems promising, and you can follow along as @SleepyC gets his in he air.

That FC has a lot of similarities (being kind) to the DJI Naza products. So there should be some easy transition for those that have used the Nazas. Hopefully that will translate to quick and easy setup help.

Have fun and fly safe!

Hey Brent! Welcome to the site. I have a lot of experience with Flight Controllers, but have just got the Tarot. SO I'm going through it right now. My wife and baby are going to visit her parents this week so I am going to have a BUNCH of extra time to get my projects done, so check the Tarot thread I started in the next few days, should have a lot of info up soon!
