LiPo Low Voltage Buzzer on flying S800

Hey All,

As a triple redundancy on my S800 battery voltage while flying, I purchased 2 of these:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1S-8S-Li...GE-/271258598462?ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:AU:3160

The idea being I set the alarm based on individual cell voltage and fly with these mounted to the balance connector of the battery, so if a single cell happens to collapse while flying, I'm alerted to it. Even if all is well with the battery, I still want it to warn me before I'm flying on fumes!

The alarm on the little modules comes preset at 3.3v

I usually come home to land at 21.7v and with 6 cells that's about 3.6v. 3.3v seems a bit low (19.8v)?

How does 3.5v sound? Any recommendations? Perhaps this whole thing isn't even a good idea?

Currently I use the voltage from telemetry data from the Futaba module and have set an alarm/vibration set in the radio.

I'm thinking of turning off low voltage protection on the WKM, as I have heard horror stories of auto landing very shortly after the first alarm.

Thanks in advance,

Steve Q. :)
