LiPo issue

last night I was wiring a few things for a GCS and accidently touched a contact with 2 wires to make a short. Big spark, instant melted wires, but no damage to the electronics as they were not plugged in.

My LiPo was a Zippy 5000mah 4s, and it didn't over heat, and was really only shorted for ½ second. Now it's dead, has no power. The lipo seems perfectly intact.

Do these have a fuse? It's brand new, shame to bin it.

They don't have a fuse. Which two wires? The main two or the balance plug?

If it was the main two, a solder-tab between the cells may have de-soldered itself.

Peeled it like a banana and saw there's a few fried wires in there. I'm not prepared to peel a good one to compare.

Put it down to experience... drop it in a bucket of saltwater - and it will be ready for next weeks rubbish.
