KK firmware 4.7?

Gentlemen,

I was flying my HK KK with version 4.5 which worked well. I then decided to flash 4.7 but I got really weird behavior: My quad would not hold altitude and would jump up and down constantly. Hover was almost at full throttle, which at times would unexpectedly shoot the quad upwards like a rocket. I put the pots as recommended (50%, 0%, 50%)

I reflashed 4.5 and now it is normal again.

Can anybody explain what I did wrong?

X or + ? I guess you are aware that the motor setup are different on the 4.7?

Yes. I am aware. It's a + and I used the + version firmware, which actually flew but was really shaky and unstable. Went back to 4.5. It is not great but it works.

Give it a try again! The 4.7 is amazingly stable! I followed this write-up to the point when setting up my X525 with a KK 5.5 multiboard:

Follow it, but adapt it to + setup Good Luck!

One more thing, you might have to reverse the pots and gyros to get it to work like it should. All is explained in that thread
