Hello all,

I am a retired mechanical engineer (electronics on the side). Have been designing and building model aircraft of all sorts since 1975. I am not the practical sort by any means. I entertain myself with fancy or unusual designs. I tend to design and build my own motors, camera gimbals, airframes, etc. I have a home machine shop which helps to be creative in my builds. I use a combination of Solid Works CAD and good old hand sketches in the design process.

I am presently designing and machining parts for my new, custom Y6. I hope to find others here that enjoy a good challenge in design and fabrication.
